Review of The Lady Eve (1941) by Mathieu C — 07 Jun 2007
The wit of Preston Sturges at its absolute best. This film is essentually a battle of the sexes that takes place between a card sharp and a rich scientist. This film has romance and loads of laughs. Barbara Stanwyck's performance is worth the price of the film alone.
