Review of The Lady Eve (1941) by Kenneth L — 27 Dec 2008
A funny and original romantic comedy. Stanwyck gives a fantastic, funny, fierce performnace as the con woman who falls in love with her mark. Henry Fonda portrays desperate awkwardness. It's not the funniest movie ever made, but it is quite pleasant, and I wish they made more romantic comedies these days like it.
