Review of The Kite Runner (2007) by Dennis K — 26 Jul 2009
A good adaptation of the book. Believable characters and setting - although it was filmed in China. It's depressing to watch the destruction of a society and peoples' lives through the ravages of war but uplifting to see how people cope.
If you don't have time to read the book, the movie is a good alternative. Either way, it's a must see/read.
