Review of The Kite Runner (2007) by Paul V — 10 Sep 2013
Much like the 1983 adaptation of Stephen King's "Christine", "The Kite Runner" is a shortened version of a great book. The acting was decent, the directing was great, the scenery was simple-yet-tense, but the pace was rather rushed (since some parts of the book are not shown onscreen, just like "Christine").
But I found the film pretty good just like the book! Nominated for the Best Original Score Oscar.
