WOW. What else can be said but "Bravo". Genius. This is the best drama I have seen in years. Every young man should be shown this movie as an example of when to stand up against what is wrong, against what is evil and what happens when you don't take a stand.
I was happy to see there is no American politics in this movie other than our role in the Cold War with Russia. It all takes place years before 9/11. It does display how the Taliban and religious extremists took over in the 90's after Russia's failed occupation in the 80's.
But all of that aside, it's just a really great story.
