Review of The Kite Runner (2007) by Umang V — 22 Feb 2010
An excellent and faithful film adaptation on a personal beloved novel of mine. While the character development is rushed and background knowledge of the setting is over simplified, the book's best parts are powerfully interpreted in this film.
Very strong themes are portrayed here. Alberto Iglesias' original score is breathtaking, stunningly magical.
