Review of The Kite Runner (2007) by Amar S — 01 May 2010
Haven't read the book...frankly why should people try to compare!
Its a great - moving film, spanning generations that were caught in the Afghan conflict.
The guy who played the dad (the wealthy Afghan businessman), works magic. From a person who drives a jaguar(?) in Kabul to a refugee in America, who works at a gas station - you can see the impact through his portrayal. Still just as noble, sharp, down but never out.
