Review of The Kite Runner (2007) by Kamer K — 09 Dec 2010
This is the sort of thing that David Selznick and Samuel Goldwyn used to do. Take an exquisite literary work and turn it into an extraordinary movie. Even if one's not familiar with the book, the movie stands on its own merit.
Nothing fancy here just great story, solid acting, beautifully photographed.
