Trying to write something after watching a movie like this is hard. I just to type "oh my god" over and over and leave it at that. But that wouldn't do any sort of justice to the film. It's just hard to think of anything else to say when my gut has been wrenched and rung out.
I've never been to Kabul, but I believe this movie tells more truth than they tell on the news. The story is so real it hurts, and it doesn't shy from showing you some horrible crimes. Although, the story is not about these crimes, but rather about bravery, cowardice, and unconditional love.
Be prepared to cry like a baby.
