I'm reading A Thousand Splendid Suns right now and realized that I hadn't seen the movie based on The Kite Runner. So I rented it for our Saturday night movie viewing. Even though I knew the story I was still affected by the movie.
Yes, the book is better (isn't it always) but the film gives a visual reference for the book. I thought the two young boys were terrific. So see the movie if you haven't but read the book too.
