Review of The Kite Runner (2007) by Raffy John M — 28 Jan 2013
The book was above average. It is one-of-a-kind story and I praise Khaled Hosseini for that. However, the movie was not as good as the book. (what do I expect?, they always do.) There were important scenes the was not seen.
On the other hand, most of the memorable quotes were told. If you have not read the book before watching it, you must've hard time understanding what each scene have to do with the next. Technically, the film was not that good and inconsistent with its goal.
But they have educate us with redemption and gave us an awareness about the war that happened in Afghanistan and how terrible they had suffered.
