Review of The Kissing Booth (2018) by Trevor M — 12 May 2018
As a mid-20s year old MALE, I enjoy romantic films like the Nicholas Sparks movies and yes, even the sappy and oh-so predictable Hallmark movies so I decided to give this one a shot as I had nothing else to do anyway.
Personally, I'd pay to have this movie on my shelf. I LOVED it. Spoiler alert: As predictable as it could have or even may have been, I was still engaged and invested waiting on the edge of my seat for Elle to finally confess her love for Noah.
I love movies like this and hope there is a second one or some continuation of the Elle and Noah story. I think the male/female bond that Elle and Lee share makes this movie even better and potentially even slightly unique because that's something you don't see quite as often.
Great movie. Worth the 1.75 hours on a Sunday afternoon and then some....
