Review of The Kissing Booth (2018) by Sandy C — 13 May 2018

I am not a teenager but I got a huge kick out of this movie. It was filmed very differently from typical Hollywood teenage " first kiss love stories" and actually reminded me of the ones made in Asia, slightly exaggerated feelings and a lot of naivety meant to make characters more desirable and appealing for when their dreams come true (aka I get the girl/guy).

It might not appeal to everyone but I like how it took me back to those days when I blushed from watching cute Japanese or Korean romcoms! You get to feel really happy for them when they make it happen!
