Review of The King's Thief (1955) by Kevin M. W — 06 Aug 2011
Swashbuckling shenannigans in merry ol'England as Purdom leads a force against the power hungry, money hungry David Niven (!!!) in this heavily costumed though poorly setted Robin Hood knockoff. Roger Moore, long before his Bond days, is serviceable as one of the merry men and Sanders collects an easy paycheck as the oblivious king, happy with his coterie of small dogs.
