Review of The King's Thief (1955) by Paul D — 03 Jul 2014
Okay, story about a couple of highwaymen who discover a plot to kill King Charles II. I mostly watched this because I saw George Sanders in the credits, but sadly his role as the king was fairly small.
There's some good production values and the film did pick up near the end once the plot to kill the king is uncovered, but this court intrigue story didn't really grab me. David Niven and Roger Moore both of whom played James Bond, also appear in the film.
