Review of The King's Speech (2010) by Salah A — 15 Nov 2012
Vying for the number one spot in my list for best movies, the King's Speech has created an atmosphere of true awe around the lives and camaraderie of Bertie and Lionel. Only taking very, VERY small cinematic shortcuts, Mr.
Hooper recreates King George VI's true hardships just before the onset of World War II. One of two movies to truly make me cry, the final speech as shown in this cinema will be one of the best actor portrayals of all time.
