Review of The King's Speech (2010) by Arturo H — 03 Apr 2013
The King's Speech is very deserving of its critical acclaim. Tom Hooper did a fantastic job directing but the main success of this film is down to Colin Firth and Geoffrey Rush's powerhouse performances.
It has a wonderful vein of humour running throughout. Subtle humour with a lot of heart. This film is inspirational and also interesting to delve into Britain's history. If you need one feel good factor this weekend, stick this to the top of your list.
