Some really great set pieces and action scenes can't save the muddled plot and politics that are shoved down your throat or the bland and cliched characters throughout. If you're looking for an average action flick to kill a couple hours you could do way worse, if however you are looking for something more acute maybe go with "The Hurt Locker" or something up that alley.
