Rooopert Pupkin! "The more scribble the name, the bigger the fame'!!!!
"Take this as a gift' says Rupert to his girlfriend as he gives her his autograph! A couple of the best lines in the film which contrast with the un-funnyness of Rupert the 'comedian' who draws his girlfriend in to his fantasy world. A much underrated Scorsese film about fanatic wannabes & misfit characters. One of De Niro's best performances & easily one of Scorsese's best films. I loved it!
