Review of The King of Comedy (1982) by Eoin H — 24 Nov 2007
Way way ahead of its time. De Niro runs hot and cold as both funny and chilling in equal measure. An immense performace in a difficult role.
Arguably Scorsese's best film and almost certainly his most underrated.
