Review of The King of Comedy (1982) by Lee B — 26 Oct 2010
Robert De Niro's showstopping performance, which he executes to perfection, Martin Scorsese's furious direction and the hilarious screenplay make The King Of Comedy one of either De Niro or Scorsese's finest work.
Sure it has gone considerably unnoticed and unappreciated throughout the years, but it's a really, really great and intelligent film. I like it a lot.
