Very uninspired animated redo of of the beloved Rogers and Hammerstein's musical. Yul Brynner must have turned in his grave when this was released. The king's adviser is turned into a Jafar-esque villain and given a bumbling sidekick.
I don't have a problem with sidekicks, but in a redo of a famous musical?
