I didn't mind this movie when I was a kid. In fact I loved watching it, because I had no idea it was based on a true story. But this... god-awful movie... gives no attention to the main characters, instead focuses on the comedy side characters, and OH MY GOD.
It is now one of my new favourite Nostalgia Critic episodes.
