Review of The King and I (1956) by Manny C — 06 Feb 2010
So Deborah Kerr doesn't do her own singing, so what, she's still quite lovely in the musicalization of Anna and The King of Siam opposite Yul Brynner. The tunes are wonderful, the costumes and sets are rapturous.
That doesn't mean Yul Brynner really should have gotten that Oscar.
