Review of The King and I (1956) by Chris H — 08 Apr 2010
Well-made, especially for its time. The Uncle Tom's Cabin segment in particular is incredibly well done.
Obvious racism aside (by today's standards), this is a classic film. There's moments that are genuinely funny, and you just can't do better than Yul Brynner.
