Review of The King and I (1956) by Lino N — 19 Jan 2012
I just watched this movie for the first time in over ten years, and I really enjoyed it. In fact, I enjoyed it a lot more now than I did before.
Both Deborah Kerr and Yul Brynner were perfect in their roles as Anna Leonowens and King Mongkut. The songs & score for this film are wonderful, and the film's production design was beautiful.
The King And I is truly a masterpiece.
