Review of The King (2019) by Jaguar10 — 03 Nov 2019

I've been an English history buff all my life & have visited the UK 4 times and I thought this show was crap! Did not even finish the first episode. Could not understand the garbled dialects without turning on subtitles, the history is inaccurate (King Henry IV did not make Thomas his heir and Thomas died much later fighting the French).

And the plots are not well-explained or you couldn't understand them due to the garbled English. Must have been 3 or 4 shots of Henry lying in bed all the time. This seems like a mix of real history and Shakespeare's play.

Don't waste your time. Either read the play or read the real history. Does not deserve 10's at all!!! "The Last Kingdom" is way better than this and I would give that series a 10 not this tripe.
