Review of The Killing of John Lennon (2007) by Grace B — 06 Aug 2008
I was looking forward to this movie as a massive fan of both the Beatles and John Lennon plus I can't resist a good crime caper.
This movie could have been better. I think the close up shots of John Lennon being slain were shot in bad taste and from the time Chapman arrives back in New York for the second time and the shooting of John Lennon let the movie down.
The John Lennon and Yoko were poor too, not very realistic and the soundtrack is very poor.
Still an interesting movie and worth a look but let down with some average acting and direction.
