Review of The Killing of a Chinese Bookie (1976) by Adam K — 26 Feb 2005
A strange 'gangster' crime drama. Gazzara is GOOD, but the film is very unconstructed. Maybe I will let it grow on me. Cassavetes can make movies, but this one is so-so. Shadows was the first movie I saw, it was great.
