Another of the greatest movies ever. Forget all political notions when watching this. It has changed my life, basically. Waterson and Malkovich are great as the cynical but well-meaning journalists going to communist Cambodia, and Ngor as Joffe is simply heartbreaking.
It can be hysterically funny at one moment, then terrifying the next, then I will be in mad tears. Watch this film, it will astound you, to say th least, and I HATE saying that unless I mean it.
