Review of The Killing Fields (1984) by Tim C — 26 Jun 2008
OMG, I cried at the end of this movie. The love of friendship tested under distance, time ,strength, and survival in this beautiful film about the real life relationship between NYTimes reporter Sidney Schanberg and Dith Pran.
Had I been bron a few decades earlier, I would have just flat out given the Best Supporting Actor out to Haing S. Ngor without ever having to look at the other nominees. Great film addressing a war and its aftermath.
