Review of The Killing Fields (1984) by Cody G — 09 Jul 2009
Sam Waterston and Haing S. Ngor are exceptional to watch on screen. I used to enjoy watching Waterston on Law and Order, but after watching this film I love it now. The only thing that I wasn't really happy about in this film were the musical pieces that included a synthesizer because it completely killed any dramatic scenes it was featured in.
Also in one scene where a prisoner is shot right through his glasses, an obvious and incredibly fake blood spatter was added which was kinda weird. Besides that, this is an incredibly good film by Rolland Joffe.
