Review of The Killing Fields (1984) by José L — 03 Jul 2010
Very well acted, Haing S. Ngor is outstanding, Sam Waterston and John Malkovich also excel. Very believably presented, the cinematography is very effective, as is the score. Powerfully written and directed, heart wrenching at times and riveting throughout.
The editing is very skillfully done and adds a great deal to the pacing and effectiveness of the film. Quite unforgettable. Some may find it disturbing because of it's brutally realistic approach.
