Review of The Killing (1956) by Zack M — 23 Oct 2011
A brilliantly crafted and astonishingly fast paced tale of a horse race robbery. Being one of Kubrick's most accessible films, each scene is just a joy to watch. It's bursting with irony and expertly crafted characters.
It got a little tiresome after watching the same scene four times, but otherwise it's as airtight a script as they come. With a satisfyingly brutal ending.
