(1946) The Killers.
CRIME/ DRAMA/ THRILLER.
The perfect "film noir" because everything happens at night or in the dark. This film also made Ava Gardner into a sex symbol- definitely a thinking man's film filled with double crosses and so forth. Anybody who liked Humhrey Bogarts's The Big Sleep surely would love this film too. Written by Ernest Hemingway which is even more unusual!!
