Review of The Kids Are All Right (2010) by Bill J — 23 Jun 2011
I liked the movie a lot, until we reached the climax. Then it went from being a balanced viewpoint between a lesbian couple and a heterosexual male, to a more stereotypical, "it's the man's fault. Despite the fact that it was the character Jules who initiated all the trauma, it ended up being Paul's sole fault, and he was the only one punished at the end.
The ending was sole misanthropic, I went from liking the movie to seriously wishing I'd never seen it.
