Wow, this got nominated for an Oscar? This problem with the movie is all the characters are pretty much un-likable as well as also poorly constructed, with the exception of Mark Ruffalo's character who is too sympathetic, which makes it strange the director saw so to 'try' and make him the movie's quasi-villain.
This isn't the first movie about a cunt family with cunt kids passing of family dysfunctional as witty-comedy, but since it's a about lesbians it has some new kind of.....charm? VERDICT: It's like American Beauty only not good.
..and with lesbos.
