Review of The Kids Are All Right (2010) by Pock P — 08 Sep 2011
I had no expectations of this movie since I rarely find Oscar contenders any good...While watching it, I found the story and characters really promising and my hopes for it went up substantially...And then it ended.
Just out of nowhere without any resolution in the storyline the entire movie seemed to be based around. The focus changed too much. I don't find that 'real'. I understand that in 'real-life' things don't end pretty or wholly, but for the purposes of the film, I believe that the overall story, plot, theme, shouldn't shift and end in the last ten minutes.
Very disappointing.
