Review of The Kentucky Fried Movie (1977) by Cube P — 29 Apr 2012
The guys who made Airplane were never this batshit crazy or shamelessly offensive since this film's release. It doesn't care who is disgusted or upset by some of it's more crass outrageousness, but it clearly knows that the right audience will laugh and laugh hard.
As far as sketch comedy goes, besides Monty Python, this is where it begins and ends for me. Saturday Night Live is nothing compared to this.
