A definitive "hit-or-miss" type of comedy, Kentucky Fried Movie is best remembered as one of the films that helped allow other comedy directors to show more raunch onscreen. Otherwise, it's just an okay movie.
It has a steady stream of jokes that land even if others fall flat. You'll likely have a good time watching this, but the chuckles won't come as fast and thick as they do in "Airplane!".
