Michael Mann attemps to do horror, with very weird results.
They are some definite Mann'isms here, which I can appreciate/enjoy, but the rest of it just plays like he didn't quite know what he wanted to do here. But I can always enjoy Ian McKellen yelling at dudes, Gandalf-style.
