Review of The Karate Kid Part III (1989) by Mike K — 30 Aug 2008
I really liked this one, thought it was alot darker when I was little. Bill Conti's music was class, definately made the film watchable. Ralph did look noticably podgier in this but he wasn't bad.
I thought Thomas Ian Griffith was great as Terry Silver, had a sleazyness which worked in his debut here. Again, the action sequences were really toned down for this PG-friendly sequel. They should have left the series as a trilogy.
..well, they did until 1994!
