Review of The Karate Kid Part III (1989) by Wendy F — 17 Sep 2008
This is the one with the most fighting. Makes you think that perhaps because it is fighting and not just a martial art form that competitions must be full of cheaters who just need to win and stop at nothing to get there.
Its a good film and the good guys do prevail, but its close. Kind of a thin plot. Why doesn't Miyagi want Daniel to compete, and why won't he train him for the competition even when he sees that Daniel must do it (basically being forced to by the team of bad guys) The kids liked it anyway.
They love Miyagi!
