Review of The Karate Kid Part II (1986) by Barry N — 28 Jan 2011
This sequel to the original Karate Kid is just as good as the first. It had some great moments, and the talking between Miyagi and Daniel is some of the most memorable parts of the film. I thought the film was great, but some scenes felt unnessecary and really slowed the film down.
But everything leads up to the final battle scene at the end, which is satisfying from every standpoint. This is a heartwarming sequel to an already beloved classic. It's not quite as good as the first, but it still a great film.
