When first announced, I imagine that audiences were rolling their eyes at yet another desperate Hollywood attempt at making money. But, to our surprise, this new Karate Kid is a bit of a refreshment with a great casting choice of Jackie Chan as Mr.
Han. Although Jaden Smith might be hit or miss, Karate Kid as a whole is passable.
