Review of The Karate Kid (1984) by B C — 25 Nov 2009

This movie takes me back to my youth the instant I press play - also, it helps that it is a decent movie too. It is a movie about the underdog and how he triumphs over the local bullies and beats them at thier own craft (Karate).

There is a love story here too between the main character and Elizabeth Shue - who was a very "in" actress at the time (see Adventures in Babysitting). I personally still like her (see Leaving Las Vegas w/Nicolas Cage).

I'd definately watch this movie again, it warms the heart and takes you back...
