A fun watch, but pales in comparison to the original Disney adaptation. While the animal animation was lovely, Mowgli's actor was lackluster and "I wanna be like you" felt like it clashed with the darker scene they were trying to set, Scarlett Johansson may have worked for Kaa if they hadn't been so heavy handed with the effects layering.
