I never was interested in seeing the animated version of The Jungle Book, but the trailer for this live action version made it seem enticing. I was very impressed by all the work that went into this. And Neel Sethi was perfect as Mowgli.
I didn't think there would be music in this version, but was pleased to hear the two main songs from the original version (which I knew of from various Disney CDs). I can see where the creators of The Lion King got some of their ideas, as well.
The only thing that didn't work so well was that the chase and attack scenes felt really long sometimes.
