Review of The Jungle Book (2016) by Tenton R — 27 Jan 2019
Count me out of the fun club for this one. While the special effects are amazing, make no mistake, and (most) of the voice acting is excellent there just seems to be no need for this to exist other than to make money (which it certainly did) The story does nothing to make the story any more interesting than the Disney adaptation, Bill Murray and Scarlet Johansson are terribly miscast and the songs are terribly misplaced.
Honestly I'd recommend the Netflix film Mowgli over this any day.
