Review of The Jungle Book (2016) by Gail P — 08 Sep 2016
Remakes from classics, I have a hard time at. I did like the realization of the movie, but so many things were left out like the little girl from the village. Baloo has always been my favorite and meeting Baloo for the first time seemed as a strain and not in the least exciting.
I remember Baloo being more of a happy go lucky teacher, than a high anxiety mooch. The part where Mowgli runs in the trench of oxen, reminded me of the lion king scene. I won't even get on the subject of the King Lewy.
I had a hard time sitting through this movie and didn't want to finish, but did.
